Mesothelioma Treatments - Vinorelbine Drug Therapy

Vinorelbine:

Mesothelioma is generally unresponsive to most chemotherapy treatment, but vinorelbine has been shown to have a response rate of nearly 25% in patients with mesothelioma and low toxicity. Doctors at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London, England first reported a response rate for single chemical agent vinorelbine in patients with mesothelioma. See J.P. In recent followup research, they combined vinorelbine and oxaliplatin in trials in which partial responses were observed. See J.P.
