Lead Poisoning LitigationThe Firm has represented adults and children with serious lead poisoning. We focus on representing adults who have been poisoned on the job, and children who have been poisoned by take-home exposure or from housing. We aggressively seek to bring in every party responsible for the injury, including suppliers, premises owners, manufacturers, contractors and employers. In one such case, the father was exposed to lead at work. He was eventually tested and his blood lead level (BLL) was well over 100 ug/dL. He suffered from residual physical and mental problems. More than this, over a five year period his young son was exposed to lead from his father's clothes. When he was finally tested, the son's BLL was 36 ug/dL. (10 ug/dL is regarded as the threshold indicator of lead poisoning in children.) As a result of this lengthy exposure when he was an infant and young child, he had serious learning and behavioral disabilities. |
