Jennifer Bartlett, Partner

Jennifer Bartlett has been practicing law for nearly 30 years in both state and federal courts across the country, accumulating a broad base of experience and knowledge.

Jennifer has had the benefit of litigating on “both sides of the aisle.” In the first decade of her career, Jennifer practiced as a defense attorney, specializing in representing healthcare providers in cases alleging professional liability. This experience allowed her to develop a unique understanding of litigating medical/legal issues. It also instilled a deep understanding of how the defense bar approaches and litigates such issues. She handled all aspects of case management and trial, as well as supervising other attorneys and staff, and achieved partnership early on.

In 2004, Jennifer transitioned into representing plaintiffs and their families injured by defective products. Helping victims of corporate irresponsibility, and using the law to effectuate positive change in corporate attitudes toward public safety, has truly been the best and highest use of her education, training, and skill.

Jennifer has had the privilege throughout her career of practicing with firms of lawyers who hold the profession and themselves to the highest standards, and has therefore had the honor of holding positions including Shareholder, Partner, and Managing Partner. In 2018, she formed a firm of her own with a longtime law partner and friend. In 2024, she joined Kazan McClain Satterley & Greenwood, PLC, where she has experienced the most purposeful and professionally gratifying part of her career, and is a proud Partner of the Firm.

Jennifer has been included on the Southern California Super Lawyers list. She has also held membership in the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the American Association of Justice. She has presented at Harris Martin and Perrin Conferences and, for the last two years at the Women of PALS (Plaintiffs’ Asbestos Litigation Seminar). Her singular foray into appellate argument had a positive outcome for her client. (Kalaba v. Gray (2002) 95 Cal.App.4th 1416.)
